Psychotherapy

At Bloom Therapy Co., our Mental Health clinicians offer virtual psychotherapy for adults, couples, and families. We take time to understand your experiences, recognize your strengths, and work towards goals that matter to you.

Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, individualized, and grounded in respect for your needs, values, and pace. Whether you are navigating emotional challenges, exploring your ADHD-related needs, or seeking support in your relationships, we work collaboratively to find strategies that fit your life.

You do not need to have a child receiving services at Bloom Therapy Co. to access psychotherapy. We welcome individuals, couples, and families who are new to our practice.

Therapy Modalities: Depending on your clinician’s training and your goals, therapy may draw on the following approaches.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Build practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills can help you navigate strong emotions, communicate your needs, and manage everyday challenges.

Person-Centred Therapy: Explore your experiences in a supportive, non-judgmental space where your perspective guides the process. This approach emphasizes empathy, self-understanding, and your ability to make choices that reflect your values.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): EMDR helps people process traumatic or distressing memories that continue to affect their lives. Working at a pace that supports your readiness and comfort, your clinician guides you through a structured process aimed at reducing the distress associated with these experiences.

Other Approaches: Your clinician may also incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), or Family Systems Therapy, depending on your needs and their training.

Online Counselling: Our psychotherapy services are offered virtually, making it easier to access support from a private, comfortable space. Connect with your clinician online and work towards your goals in a way that fits your daily life.
