ABA Coaching Services (Virtual + In Centre)

Practical strategies. Personalized guidance. Support for everyday life.

Bloom Therapy Co.’s virtual ABA coaching helps parents and caregivers support their children from the comfort of home. Meet with a Registered Behaviour Analyst, R.B.A. (Ont.), to explore your priorities, better understand your child’s needs, and develop strategies that fit your family’s routines.

Our approach is compassionate, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming. We focus on meaningful skills while respecting your child’s communication, preferences, sensory needs, and autonomy.

What does coaching look like?

We begin by getting to know your child’s strengths, interests, and current challenges. Together, we identify goals and create an individualized plan.

During coaching sessions, your Registered Behaviour Analyst will:

  • Explain strategies and how they relate to your child’s goals.

  • Demonstrate ways to use them in everyday situations.

  • Help you practise and provide supportive feedback.

  • Share resources, visuals, or activities suited to your family.

  • Review progress and adjust strategies as your child’s needs change.

Coaching gives you opportunities to ask questions, problem-solve, and build confidence with ongoing support.

What can we help with?

Coaching goals may include:

  • Communication and self-advocacy: Supporting requests, expressing needs, asking for help, and communicating “no” or “I need a break.”

  • Emotional regulation: Recognizing signs of overwhelm, providing co-regulation, and exploring helpful coping strategies.

  • Daily living skills: Supporting dressing, hygiene, toileting, and other routines.

  • Transitions and flexibility: Preparing for changes and making transitions more manageable.

  • Executive functioning: Building organization, planning, task initiation, and independence.

  • Understanding challenging behaviour: Looking at what happens before and after behaviour to identify patterns and develop supportive responses.

  • Social connection and safety: Supporting relationships, personal boundaries, and everyday safety skills.

The suitability of virtual coaching is considered individually. Goals involving safety concerns may require in-person assessment or additional support.

Support that fits your family

Virtual coaching focuses on helping caregivers use strategies between sessions, where everyday learning happens. Your child may participate in parts of a session when helpful, although much of the work involves collaboration between you and your Registered Behaviour Analyst.
